Booking Rates

We strive to provide quality rentals with no hidden costs. The following is a summary of our 2020 booking rates, as well as other fees that may apply to each rental. 

Rates are charged on a per night basis and include the following:

  • 100 miles per rental day
  • Fully equipped kitchenette
  • Queen-size bed w/top-grade bedding
  • Outdoor camping equipment and accessories
  • 13 gallons of fresh water
  • Hot and cold running water, outdoor shower

Nightly rental: $149 – $209 per night.
Rates adjust with longer rental periods.

June 1 – September 13

(3 night min)

Nightly rental: $189 – $259 per night.
Rates adjust with longer rental periods.

September 14 – October 31 

(3 night min)

Nightly rental: $159 – $229 per night.
Rates adjust with longer rental periods.

November 1 – December 31

(2 night min)

Nightly rental: $129 – $179 per night.
Rates adjust with longer rental periods.

Trailer hitch mounted bike rack

THULE bike racks to accommodate the capacity of each campervan, can be added to your rental. All racks are secure with locking mechanisms for each bicycle. Please, no bicycles inside the campervan.

BIKE RENTALS

Bike rentals are available through our local partners and can be added to each rental and ready to go upon pickup. Inquire through Blue Sun Campervans prior to your scheduled pickup date and we’ll promptly get back to you with an exact quote for the duration of your trip.

STAND-UP PADDLE

45 qt. Yeti cooler

$25/per trip
(optional)

Each campervan comes equipped with a small refrigerator. We offer Yeti coolers as an option for renters who require additional cold storage and for those who wish to keep ice along their journey.

Pickup & Dropoff

Blue Sun Campervans is conveniently located within one mile from the Salem Depot (purple line) and just two miles from the Salem Ferry Dock. We will gladly meet you at either location upon arrival, on the day of your scheduled pickup. There is also plenty of free, on-street parking available for folks who wish to drive in and leave their vehicle.

Insurance

You will be required to purchase an affordable insurance plan for the duration of your rental period. Such plans are offered through a third party insurer and are available when booking your campervan.

Security Deposit

A $500 refundable security deposit will be charged upon pickup for any damages incurred during your trip. The deposit will be released back to renter within 7 business days upon the completion of your trip. Blue Sun Campervans reserves the right to apply additional costs should damages, or loss of equipment occur.

Cleaning fee

$60 / each rental period without pet
$120 / each rental period with pet

Additional mileage

100 miles are included with each rental day. For example, if you pick up your campervan on a Thursday and return it Sunday for a total of 3 nights and 4 days, 400 miles will be included in the rental agreement. $0.35 will be charged per excess mile. For longer trips, you have the option to purchase additional mileage packages while reserving your campervan.
$25 / every 100 miles

Payment

A 25% deposit and a major credit card are required to confirm each reservation. The remaining balance will be charged 14 days prior to pickup. Rental periods overlapping from one season to the next will be charged accordingly. Rental extensions will be granted based on availability. Please read all terms and conditions prior to booking.
